Ordering Online

The main purpose of this website is to provide a safe and secure place where people can select and buy from our range of mobile technology solutions and related products. Naturally enough, this means we need to obtain some information on you, our customers.

The Privacy Information page on this site provides full details of the information we need to collect and what we do with it in order to process your orders and stay in contact with you should you wish.

We encourage you to feel comfortable using your credit card to make purchases on our site. We do not retain cardholder information on this site or in any of our other computer systems. Additionally, unlike many High Street stores we do not keep paper records of cardholder information and whenever cardholder information is sent from us to our card processing company it is sent in secure encrypted form.



Delivery Information

Our primary delivery carriers are Gefco Forwarding, a courier service making use of DHL for deliveries in the UK and Europe, and The Royal Mail. We also occasionally use other delivery services to achieve the fastest delivery for a particular order. When an order is dispatched an email is sent to the customer confirming dispatch and specifying the carrier that has been used - including any tracking information if appropriate

Delivery charges are calculated on a per-product basis. Delivery charges and delivery options associated with each item are displayed on the product information pages for the item and a total delivery price for your order is displayed on the checkout page.

Unless otherwise stated on the relevant product detail page, It is our intention to dispatch all orders no later than the end of the first working day following the date of the order and no later than 3 working days following the date of the order.

If for any reason your order cannot be dispatched within the normal time frame for the product, we will contact you and explain the delivery situation for your item and give you the choice of waiting until we can deliver the item or canceling the order with an immediate full refund.



Prices

Goods are charged at price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order and are inclusive of VAT. Prices are correct at time of publication. Errors and omissions are excepted. Orders will be processed at our published prices, otherwise, in the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding.



If You Change Your Mind

For unwanted goods Protronica offers a 14-day return policy. To return a product the customer should:

After you contact us a returns number will be issued by us which must be clearly identified on an enclosed letter or on the external packaging when the Goods are returned, no markings should be made on the product or product packaging. The enclosed documentation should include proof of purchase (invoice), the returned product must be complete, and in ‘as new’ condition with original packaging. We will not accept the return under the 14-day return policy of any Goods that have had a manufacturers or suppliers warranty or registration activated or any software updated.

All returns must be received by us within 14 days of the returns number being issued and any Goods received after that period will be dealt with on an individual basis. The customer must take all reasonable care to ensure that all returned items are suitably packaged, and that the goods are protected from damage when being returned. The customer must pay the cost of return shipping and provide us with proof of despatch to the correct address. In the event of Goods being returned without a previously allocated returns number the processing of any claim by the customer may be delayed.

Where unwanted Goods are requested to be returned more than 14 days from the date of purchase please contact us with details of your request, we reserve the right not to accept the return of unwanted, non-defective goods after the 14 day period at our absolute discretion but will deal with your enquiry reasonably.

The responsibility for ensuring that the Goods are sufficient and suitable for the Customer’s requirements rests with the Customer who should read the product descriptions and terms of sale before placing an order. The customer should enquire if he has any doubts as to the suitability of the Goods.

Unwanted Goods under Distance Selling Regulations – The Distance Selling Regulations give the Customer the right to change their mind and to cancel an order within 14 days. Reasonable care should be taken whilst the goods remain in their possession and goods must be adequately packaged when being returned back to us. Where your purchase is covered by the Distance Selling Regulations, the 14 day cooling off period is inclusive within our 14 day returns policy.



Warranty Returns

Any manufacturing defects in the Goods which under proper use appear within a reasonable period after delivery and which are due to faulty materials or workmanship will be made good by us either by repair or, at our sole discretion, by replacement or refund. Any claim for Goods or the defective parts should be returned together with proof of purchase and complete with all accessories, instruction manuals and software and, wherever possible, in the original packaging. Any claim for defective Goods or parts must be made in writing (specifying the date of purchase and invoice number) within a reasonable period of time after delivery.

All warranties and conditions which are capable of being excluded by statute or otherwise are excluded from any contract provided that nothing in the contract shall affect the statutory rights of the Consumer.

We reserve the right to inspect any Goods returned prior to issuing credit or other remedy for those Goods.

Any warranty seals applied to the Goods must not be removed or broken and any product without the warranty seals intact will be deemed to have had any warranty invalidated and the Goods will be deemed to have been accepted by the Customer.

The warranty period is from the date of purchase of the Goods and if the Goods are replaced within this warranty period, the warranty will continue from the original date of purchase.



Complaints

If you feel you need to complaint about any part of our service, please contact us as soon as possible by whatever means you feel most comfortable with, telephone, e-mail or letter. We aim to resolve any complaints on the working day we recieve them, if this is not possible we will always send an acknowledgement on the day we recieve the complaint and let you know when we will be able to reply fully, which will always be within 5 working days.
